I'm in student council in high school and its consuming alot of my time which i would rather be spending in other activities or getting my hw done. I depend on riding the bus home from school and its really hard for me to get rides if we have meetins after school. A couple of my friends have already quit because they can't stand it either. This runs the risk of the carpet shrinking and it becomes a breathing ground for mould etc. The shampoo may have locked the soot in. The shampoo needs to be extracted as the surfactant in the shampoo will attract dirt like a magnet. I can recommend your local ChemDry agent. Ive used them for a similar situation I had. I have a 3 year old Manx cat who has a horrible habit of scratching at my bedroom door multiple times throughout the night. I sometimes end up getting up 6-10 times during the night to shoo him away from my door. My bedroom is upstairs and I put a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to try and stop him but he jumps over it. I've tried leaving my door open but then he comes in and roams around and meows and keeps me awake that way. I have tried locking him in a pet crate at night and he ends up having accidents in his crate and causing a large mess. It sounds as if you son is suffering from a lot of stressful issues....probably at work. Something is not as it should be. Cops need to be able to let things go...and not allow them to crawl deep inside them and ruin family relationships. This is all to common however. The only thing I can suggest is that you try to make an appointment with a police department psychologist and tell him your story. You son won't like it if he hears about it...but the department also needs a heads up if they have a cop on the force that is a ticking time bomb. I wish you the best.

I'm lonely. I only have one real friend that's kind of cut me off since he's cheating on two girls at the same time. I can't get a girlfriend. Our bd p1600 blu ray player has stopped working. Please help.?

Hello all, thanks for looking at this question. My family has recently bought a bd p1600 samsung bluray player. It has been working fine for movies and netflix, etc. until last night. When we turned it on it asked if we wanted to do a firmware update so we said yes. After the update was over (about 30 minutes) the screen just went black for a long time so we tried to turn the player off. It wouldnt let us turn it off so we unplugged it. (bad idea?) Anyway, now whenever we turn it on it just stays at the blurry screen that always shows up right when you turn it on. We have waited long periods of time and nothing happens. Has anyone had this problem, can anyone offer help?

Should my fiance discipline my daughter in front of me?

Last night, my 9 year old daughter got mouthy when I told her it was time for bed, and I told her that if she continued to be disrespectful, she would be grounded. I own a Sony Blu-ray Disc player (BDP-S300).?

When put in a Blu-ray disc to play, the only thing that comes on the screen is "BD/ROM" and then after awhile, a loading bar comes on the lower part of the screen and after about 45 seconds of that, the screen goes bank. Any suggestions?

Try to make new friends, join a club, go to the library, start a hobby. You have to keep active in the life you have now. You absolutely have to try and keep positive, however hard it is. Possibly try volunteering. When I had a family death and subsequent breakdown and my partner of over 13 years couldn't cope with me anymore I thought it was the end of the world but I've now married someone I met volunteering and take each day at a time. That's all you can do. There is no magic solution. I wish you well for the future.

Hooking up PS2 to TV?

I got a tattooed ankle bracelet two days ago...I accidently rubbed it...?

I got an ankle bracelet tattoo that is now three days old for an example it looks like Nichole Richie's ankle tatt but instead of a the charm i have two one dangling on the inside of my ankle and the other dangles all the way just above my big toe and second toe. The artist told me to leave on the bandage for 45 minutes, wash it with antibacterial, and put the lotion on it. well for the record this is my second tattoo and i recently purchased tattoo goo for the first one. Both are colorful (very colorful) so on my first tattoo ( which is across my back) i made sure to apply the goo every 3 hours during the day and before i went to bed. the first tattoo peeled and heeled perfectly fine in less than 2 weeks i hear people say colored tatts fade quicker so to those who are looking for information on how to prevent it, i still apply tattoo goo and Aveeno sunblock together once daily and twice or as needed if i will be in the sun and my colors are still looking as if i just got it and its two years old. However i am having problems with my foot tatt. i wash it twice once in the morning and once before i go to bed. i have heard of putting cling wrap on or socks when you go to bed or when wearing sneakers to avoid rubbing at the scabs but the tatt artist tells me i am not allowed to wear socks or any tight sandals or shoes on it for the first three weeks. It also started to scab up and the bracelet part is already peeling some...but yesterday i went outside with my sister and she "accidentally" rubbed her sneaker on the inside of my ankle and it started to hurt so i immediately washed it off and applied new goo though it seems fine and the pain and swelling went away after i got the tattoo so i know its not an infection but i have a yellow colored star as one of my charms and there is a extremely light brown scab but its also colored yellowish i'm afraid she has messed up my color are those kind of scabs going to peel my color off.... also i work in a dissection lab for cl and we are not allowed to wear sandals i tried the second day of my tattoo to wear crocs but they seemed to rub against the charm above my big toe and it turned red....Does anyone have any suggestions of foot wear to wear...

7 month old congested and with fever?

my 11 week old son just recently got over RSV and my pedi dr told me when it sounds like there is alot of mucus build up in his throat or nose to take the bulb sarenge and suck his nose and throat out but don't do it alot because you can cause irritation. Fitness/Health Plan for me??

I am about 5'7 and 70 kgs. I would really like to lose weight and just improve my overall health and fitness. I tend to carry weight most around my lower abdomen, hips, back or 'muffin top' area. I don't look extremely overweight or anything, but I believe my BMI is too high and that I should lose about 10-15 kilograms to be in a healthy range? Don't put dairy in the slow cooker until the very end. In the recipes I've seen for crockpot swedish meat, you are to stir 1/2 cup or more of the cooking liquid into the sour cream/softened cream cheese to mix thoroughly, then stir that back into the meatball mixture (after you've completed cooking). My son attended Temple - and got an excellent education, for a fraction of the price (OK - Curtis is free - you know what I mean!) No - Temple is NOT Curtis - but look into OTHER school besides the two you mentioned - like Manhattan School of Music, Academy of the Arts, etc. Find the TEACHER that you want to study with - get a few lessons ahead of time - and then decide.

Your other five fish did not kill your first redtail--the hiding one did. Red-tails are generally peaceful with other fish, but if bullied they will retaliate. They are very territorial and cannot be kept with their own kind, or even with other sharks that are not red-tails. There is nothing abnormal about your still living shark's hiding. They like to hide in small spaces and are sometimes reclusive around other fish. However, you red-tail should come out more often than it seems to. It may not be happy with the way your tank is set up (plants, lighting, etc.) or that may just be it's personality. Put in more things for it too hide in to make it happy, and research red-tailed sharks, in books or online. Adjust your tank to make it better for your shark after you research it. And next time you invest in new fish, look them up first to make sure they are compatible, and that you are not buying more than one of a territorial fish. If you really want more than one red-tail in a tank (I do not reccomend it!), put two in a large tank with thick foliage (live plants, not plastic ones), sand to burrow in, and LOTS of hiding places. Even if you do this, they will establish a pecking order. One will be brightly colored--more so than the other red-tail--and will chase the other away from the food at feeding time. Research your fish next time to avoid the same mistakes.

Does proving God doesn't exist require the same burden of proof as proving God does exist?

I've always thought it was unfair for atheists to say theists have to prove that god exist and if they don't then we must ume he doesn't. Let me give you a little background on me so you know where I'm coming from. I'm a philosophy major next fall and I'm also a debater. As a debater I had to argue both sides of a statement. I had to prove it true (affirm) and I had to prove it false (negate). Now sometimes it would be a positive statement (Resolved: Socialized medicine is just) or negatively (Resolved: Socialized medicine is unjust) Either way if I was affirmative I would have to prove the statement true rather stated in the negative or positive. Each had an equal burdened of proof for the affirmative while the negative simply had to prove the statement false or at least unprovable. Thus why should the statement "God does not exist" require less of a burden of proof than "God does exist." They are both substantial statements and I don't see how a negative statement has a lowered burden. Personally I'm a pionate Apathiest (I love contradictions) so my posting this question is just out of curiosity and I'll pick the best answer based on which is most intelligent not which I agree with.
