Is Jessica or Jess a y name?

For a novel I'm writing, there is a character who is a total seductress. I'm thinking about using the name Jessica or Jess (Jessie seems too innocent). Or, if you don't think it's y, can you please give me some suggestions? Nothing too cliche, like Candy haha! Thanks in advance! (:
