I own a Sony Blu-ray Disc player (BDP-S300).?

When put in a Blu-ray disc to play, the only thing that comes on the screen is "BD/ROM" and then after awhile, a loading bar comes on the lower part of the screen and after about 45 seconds of that, the screen goes bank. Any suggestions?
