I applied for my U.S. citiznship. should i wait to be a citizen to marry my girlfriend?or it dosent matter?

Should wait till get citienship for you. If you marry her now, could jeapordize your citizen papers. BUT I would still propose to her and give her that diamond ring to show how much you love her and want marry her.
