NBA Live 2006 on Ps2?

Was up i have the game and im currently in middle of my dynasty and my question is how can i clear up some cap space for my team cuz every time i want to sign a free agent a message comes to my PDA saying that i dont have cap space and i should try clearing up some cap space how can i do this?
