Catholicism: Is it necessary to believe in communion & intercession of saints an Mary to be a Catholic?

As a Catholic myself I would suggest that you talk about these things with a priest and then make up your own mind and don't be insulted by anyone who thinks that you are silly for having a faith like one of the answers included here. Its up to you not your intelligence if you want to believe or not
