Situation below!!! what would you do?

I was going out with this guy and he was really athletic and really smart. I was always extremely supportive and went to all of his basketball and football games. The problem was that he wanted and that since im Catholic Its against my beliefs. Then I walked in on him sleeping with my best friend. I was crying for days in my room until he came over with flowers and chocolates apologized and said it was over and said farewell with a kiss and then he went out with my ex-best friend.Anyway at the last minute my date for the dance cancelled and I went in the woods and started crying because all my friends were going to be there and I wanted to go. Then my ex-boyfriend walks by and asked me why I was crying. Btw he broke up with my ex-bestfriend a while ago.I told him trying to avoid crying but I couldn’t that her date cancelled and he said he would take me. So we went together and he was awesome. After the dance he asked me out again and I said id have to think about it and he said he understood. I really want to take him back. Would you??
