I need help with angel afghan pattern i found on www.crochetkim.com?

i had troubles at first it came out wop sided many times but after repeated trial and error i finally crocheted the block exactly as it was supposed to be almost i can tell its an angel but no one else can i used a 6.5 needle a 5.5 needle and a 5 needle but they all look the same the block is just bigger or smaller with each hook my block did not come out as spacious ( clearly i know its an angel with the pic on the website its obvious what the pattern is of but after i did mine i have to explain to someone to try to get them to realize its an angel and they still have trouble seeing it )
