What is the Air Force Reserve really like?

I have been thinking about going into the Air Force Reserves. I would like to know from somebody whose in the Reserves what's it like. Can you go to school right after you return home from technical school? I'm seriously thinking about joining. I just want to know what it's really like the pros as well as the cons. I don't want to join just for monetary reasons. This is a very important and major decision. So any advice or information would be very helpful. Thanks.
